In the game you play as a knight, who lost his sword duo to unfortunate circumstances.

Escape from the enemies in the dungeon to find your sword.

Run, jump and maneuver around enemies, try not to get caught!

Controls:

WASD/Arrow keys to move.

Right click to jump above enemies and obstacles.

Left click to swing your sword if you have it

I made the game alone in a few days for the 4th indie jam.
My drawing tablet broke down, so I had to use my mouse and mspaint.
I enjoyed working with these limitations and found it boosted my creativity.

Developing this game was especially fun, I love to see how my skills improve with every new project.

This is my favorite out of all of the Indie game jam submissions. I couldn't make something this cool if I tried. I get stuck on making buttons work lol. Back on topic, it feels so rewarding getting the sword back and being able to slay the enemies that once were evaded.  I hope this game wins

Thank you so much. everyone starts not knowing anything, I could never make this game when I started. Best way to get better is to make more stuff and enjoy learning. Try to be comfortable with not knowing what to do, you will naturally learn from your mistakes and get better.

I updated the game, added more features, polish and qol.

Fun game with a nice gameplay loop. Honestly, the art style that you picked arousing from the troubles you've faced during the development really suits the fun little story. Good game.

Thank you! I updated the game and added a boss fight and some qol.

Hopefully I will be able to work on it tomorrow as well. Would love to hear if you have ideas for things to add or stuff that is bothering you.

I actually really enjoyed the new last round. Unexpected new mechanic that really fits. Also the UI for jump exhaustion was a good touch, but it's the only thing that stands out from the usual hand drawn style the game has. Maybe something like blinking sweat droplets on the hero that last the duration of exhaustion would work better.

Also I think the mechanic that you have for the dragon when running away and it popping up could be used in the final battle, for a little bit more challenging and climactic final fight. Fun game and a good update!

Thank you for the feedback, I went back and tried new ways to design the exhaustion bar, at the end I settled for changing the way it looks, making it fit better with the style of the rest of the game. Good insight and thank you for playing.
